It’s the synth-punk story of Jesus! Dennis Hopper stars in a psychotically unhinged performance as Kenneth Barlow, the ex-manager of the Rolling Stones who picks up synth musician Moody Moodinsky (Terrance Robay), in a desperate attempt to promote him as music's "future." Featuring a performance by T.S.O.L. ripped straight from Suburbia! Also starring scary-ass David Hess as Judas.

Movie screens at 10:30, but we’ll be there around 9, so come hang out.

We at THE THIRD FLOOR would like to thank the Portland, OR-based collective CAPTAIN CAT for loaning us their beautiful animal masks for the Wicker Man event, entirely hand made of recycled materials! Each mask is composed of sculpted cardboard and paper-mache, and has carved wooden teeth!

Join The Third Floor and 92YTribeca for a very special screening of Robin Hardy’s original 1973 cult horror masterpiece “The Wicker Man.” A devout Christian, Sgt. Howie (Edward Woodward), officer of the West Highland police force, is summoned to Summerisle, an isolated island off the Scottish coast to investigate an anonymous report of a missing girl. Brusquely greeted by the island’s townsfolk, Sgt. Howie is forced to seek out Lord Summerisle (played by Hammer Horror legend Christopher Lee), and finds himself trapped in a world of ancient folklore, pagan rituals, and the landlord’s lustful daughter (Swedish screen sensation Britt Ekland).

Director Robin Hardy will be present for a Q & A session after the 7pm screening and will be screening teaser footage from his Wicker Man re-imagining The Wicker Tree featuring Christopher Lee that just wrapped principle photography this summer. And expect many more special guests for this rare screening!
